Opening of Khutbah

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah. We praise Him, we seek His help, and we seek His forgiveness. I seek refuge with Allah from the evil of our souls and from the evil of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, none can misguide him, and whomsoever He allows to go astray, none can guide him.

I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner or associate, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

May Allah send His peace and blessings upon him, his family, and his companions.

First Khutbah

O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him].

O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Indeed Allah is ever, over you, an Observer.

O you who have believed, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice. He will [then] amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great attainment.

To proceed: Indeed, the truest of speech is the Book of Allah, and the best of guidance is the guidance of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him. And the worst of affairs are the newly invented matters [in religion], and every newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Hellfire.

Main Khutbah: Make Dua to Allah

Closing of First Khutbah

I say these words of mine and I seek forgiveness from Allah for me and for you and for all Muslims from every sin, so seek His forgiveness. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

Second Khutbah

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. The good end is for the righteous, and there is no aggression except against the wrongdoers.

I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.

O Allah, send Your peace, blessings, and grace upon Your servant and Messenger Muhammad, and upon his family and all his companions.

Closing Dua

O servants of Allah, indeed Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded.

So remember Allah the Great and He will remember you, and thank Him for His blessings and He will increase you. And the remembrance of Allah is greater, and Allah knows what you do.

And establish the prayer.
