The Final Moments of the Companions

We'll be answering questions. May Allah bless you and protect you. Shaykh Abdullah walked in as if we didn't see each other.

We literally just saw each other an hour ago. We had a talk together. So may Allah protect you, Shaykh.

So Shaykh, the topic for the night is the last moments — the final moments of the pious, the sahaba. And how the sahaba, may Allah be pleased with them, departed from this world. What were their sayings? What was that experience? And how can we benefit from that as Muslims? And as people that are trying to follow their steps, knowing that they follow the steps of the Prophet ﷺ. So that's the question, Shaykh.

Please give us a strong foundation that we can start from, inshallah, and build on.

Alhamdulillah, Shaykh Mazumari, it's an extreme honor to be next to you. May Allah bless you, protect you, and everyone here at Ummah. May Allah reward you guys.

And alhamdulillah, Shaykh Mazumari is going to lead this conversation. This is Shaykh Mazumari's community, and I feel that when I come here, I'm a guest — I'm also here to learn from him and benefit from him sincerely. So may Allah give us tawfiq to benefit. Ameen.

A lot of times when you have someone local, you don't appreciate it enough — and a guest scholar comes and it's like, oh yes, he's new.
