Behind Every Great Man...

Every great man you've heard of could not have been a great man if it was not for the woman who nurtured him. Al-Imam al-Shafi'i, born to a single mother. Al-Imam Ahmed, born to a single mother.

His mother takes him, wraps his head in a turban, and sends him to the largest masjid — in Mecca, in Baghdad, in Egypt, in Syria, in Gaza. If it wasn't for these mothers, you would not hear about these sons.

The Hidden Role of Women

Women tend to play a very behind-the-scenes role in society. Men tend to play the front and center role. But what we are seeing in the modern world today is a movement that aims to suppress the role of the woman in the household — because it's not visible enough, it's not masculine enough, we can't measure it, there's no economic benefit. Where are the peas? Where are the pounds? Send her to work.

The Mother of Musa

The whole story starts with the mother, because everything begins and ends with the mother.
