Roots is transforming young Muslims' lives through education. We're looking for sustainers £10/month

I'm a revert of two months so I'm only new to this and I'm learning. There was a lot of real life examples, it was very visual and I'm a visual learner. I'd say definitely attend — very social, very welcoming environment.

Even if it's just once to see if you like it, you will like it. There's a lot of classes I've seen about the rules and the regulations of Islam and how we can improve ourselves that way. I haven't seen much about the spirituality and that side of Islam — how we can get closer to Allah and how we can love Him. So it's nice that there is a class about that.

The thing I enjoyed the most about the workshop is that there was a lot of real life examples, and in the free workbook we got as well there's a lot of diagrams. It was very visual and I'm a visual learner so I really enjoyed that aspect. There was a lot of group discussions as well — opportunities for me to speak to the people around me. So it was nice to have differing opinions, and as soon as I came in I was welcomed.

The class is very social — everyone's speaking afterwards. Very social, very welcoming environment. It's very light, very easily absorbable knowledge.
