This means you don’t think anything of Allah!

None of us are angels and this means we are always going to make mistakes, we are always going to sin — but we should not be deluded, we should not be cheated, we should not be deceived by the Shaitan to think that these sins do not affect our lives. You will see them in the vehicle that you drive, in the behavior of your children, in the behavior of your boss, in the behavior of your friends, you will see it in your electricity bill, you will see it in the water that you drink. The effect of our sins comes back to bite us because we think nothing of them.

The biggest crime is not the sin. The biggest crime is not that I backbited, or that I missed my salah, or that I wronged someone — this is not the biggest crime.

لا تنظر إلى صغر الذنب ولكن انظر إلى من عصيت

Sufyan al-Thawri said: "Do not look at the size of the deed you did, but look at the One you disobeyed."

The fact that we think nothing of our mistakes and our crimes and our sins means that we think nothing of Allah.
