Miftah Seekers — One-Year Intensive Program
The Prophet ﷺ once said:
Whosoever treads upon a path to seek knowledge, Allah makes the path towards Jannah easy for them.
(Sahih Muslim, Book 35, Hadith 6518)
It was in light of this hadith that we at Miftah decided to name our one-year program, The Seekers Program — a program, insha'Allah ta'ala, that will be starting for the first time this year.
A Long-Awaited Answer
After years of parents and youngsters asking, "When will we start a one-year program?" — where there will be classes every day throughout the week, full time from 9am to 4pm, where we will provide accommodations, lodging, and food, where students can come for an entire year and learn from the mashayikh and from the different instructors and teachers — we are excited to say that alhamdulillah, the time has come.
Allah has allowed us to purchase a campus and then allowed us to renovate this beautiful campus and this beautiful wing at Miftah. All of this so that it can be available and can be a resource to those who want to come and study at every level — whether it be the Associate Program, the Light Program, or specifically now the Miftah Seekers Program.
What the Program Offers
There will be 8 subjects taught on a daily basis:
- 4 subjects dedicated to the Arabic language
- 4 subjects dedicated to the sciences of deen and the other sciences of our religion
So there will be a balance between learning Arabic and also learning the other sciences, so no one gets too bored. We, insha'Allah, will be introducing this program with Sheikh Abdullah Waheed, our dear brother, and also many of the other instructors at Miftah.
Who Is This Program For?
We hope that if you, or your son or daughter — or if you are a husband and wife thinking about what is the best way to spend the next year — this Seekers Program will be a great option for you to spend time learning your deen. At the same time, you will be around people who are also studying knowledge, in an environment which, insha'Allah, is conducive to our growth — not only intellectually but also spiritually.
