What Happens After Allah Loves You?
How do you get to this level where Allah responds to your du'as without you even asking?
In a hadith, the Prophet ﷺ informs us that the way to get to this situation — he says that Allah conveyed to him that the most beloved thing that we can do to come close to Allah is His obligations. And then we continue to get closer to Him with optional acts of worship, until we reach a level where Allah loves us.
And when we reach a level where Allah loves us, the Prophet ﷺ says:
"And if he asks Me for anything, I will give it to him. And if he seeks My protection from anything, I will protect him."
(Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 6502)
It requires a relationship. To get that kind of response from Allah, we have to up our game.
